The J1s were rotating around the BUs(Business Units) for entrepreneur club meeting today. But since I had to go for SAGE meeting, I only had a chance to meet two of the rotating groups of J1s. Kind of wonder who will be the next batch of BU6 members...... Btw, BU6 is gonna have an outing to Ikea on Saturday to source for accessories for our rooftop cafe. =D

SAGE and school homework are like dominating my life right now. I'm kind of lagging behind tutorials. Most of the time, I'm always halfway through a certain tutorial when most of the people in class have already finished doing it. And today, I had to complete quite some GP skills homework and the Galvanic Cell tutorial for Chemistry.
Guess I wasn't in a very good condition towards the last class of the day. Heard something dumb that I wasn't very fond of from last year and I kind of snapped... as in I rolled my eyes. Can't believe that I lost myself for that and let my emotions overwhelm me at that point of time. Then, after that I was like "Oh my tian(sky)." and I ended up feeling pretty foolish and quite sorry for the whole day. Shall not elaborate coz its not worth mentioning.

Anyways, to tell the truth, I've only finished the Galvanic Cell tutorial and am only halfway through my GP homework but I decided to just come blog for a while. Haha. Gotta go do GP now.

All the J2s had to go to LT5 at 2PM today to see the live broadcast of the seniors getting their A'Level results in the hall. Coz Amanda, Mei Xiu, Joanne, Yue Yin and I got there late, there wasn't any seats left and so we ended up sitting on the steps on the left side of the LT. The whole thing ended at around 3:30PM and then Joanne and I decided to be extras by following the others to Room 301 to claim their A'Level Mother Tongue results. Gotta say that the people in 08S28 did quite well for Mother Tongue except for maybe 1 or 2 people.

Gonna get back our PW(Project Work) results next month. Hope everyone in my group gets an A. Thinking back, there were quite some funny moments during PW meetings. LOL. And Greg(our group leader a.k.a tennis king) liked to put some lame comments and the clapping hand sound in our powerpoint presentation without the knowledge of anyone in our group. Its like when we were presenting during the OP rehearsals, there would suddenly be this random clapping hand sound coming from the speakers and everyone in the classroom would be like (-_-)""". Then Miss Aisha would give this incredulous face and "demand" Greg to take the lame comments or clapping sound away. XD

To tell the truth, PW was pretty fun probably because of the people in my group - Greg, Joanne, Ching Kit and Ranjini. Joanne was saying that our group consists of people who are very chill but gets the work done. And we are also a group of people that likes to complain about how sian it is and talk lame stuff or give funny but unfeasible ideas for our project that can sometimes be super funny when we work on the project.

By the way, I saw Rara(Farah) on bus 160, while I was going home last Friday, at the bus stop where I wait for the bus 180. Haven't seen her for a long time... probably for like 1 year plus already? Because she practically never turns up for any of the 10 over 4E4 class outings in the past year. Actually, she was the one who noticed me first when the bus 160 came towards my bus stop. So, she started waving at me and at that point of time I didn't realise it was her(coz she let her hair down) but was thinking why some familiar looking girl was waving at me. It was not until when the bus came directly in front of the bus stop that it suddenly hit me that it was Rara that was waving at me. Haha. I know I'm slow. =P Then when I waved back, Rara started laughing coz I guess she found it funny that my attitude or facial expression totally changed from an incredulous one to a smiling one. XP

Well, nothing much else to blog about now. =D

Have been having a somewhat minor cold ever since yesterday and its been causing me to have cold-induced-tears quite often. And the weather hasn't been that helpful with the rain and all. Oh wells.

Went to Sangeetha's house for the SAGE meeting today instead of having it at school coz Sangeetha was on MC. Her dog really terrorised Gigi, Grace, me and Mei Xiu with its over-enthusiastic attitude. Seriously, I had a really bad premonition when I saw the dog run to the gate and bark while wagging its tail happily. And when we entered the house, Sangeetha's dog started licking and chasing the four of us around and it really freaked us out. In the end, we had to go to Sangeetha's room to hold the meeting coz the dog would be running around us enthusiastically in the living room. LOL. Anyways, the dog was kinda cute but just...... too enthusiastic with visitors? By the way, Sangeetha's house is really nice and her room is really very neat.

Sleeping late is no joke. Woke up at around 8AM today to be in time for the 9AM conference call with the SAGE team mates(Sangeetha, Mei Xiu, Grace and Gigi) and our mentor.

However, coz of the late homecoming the night before, I slept at 4+AM and the effects of exhaustion kicked in while I was waiting for the clock to strike 9 and was reading a book in the living room. It was not until a call came that woke me up again at around 9:13AM. Sighs. Super paiseh to call in late... shouldn't have fell asleep... =(

I guess I decided to come and blog a little since I haven't blogged for 4+ months. I know people like CF and Sara already lost hope about seeing a new post in here. Wahaha.

Stayed back in school after lessons to watch the JJ Drama Fest 2009 at LT5 yesterday and it was good. Liked the one with Chean Fei's classmates(08S24) in it a little more than some others coz it was pretty funny. Gotta ask Chean Fei about the results coz I only stayed until the teachers finished performing.

Anyways, I really wanna thank the HYSS 2E3 and 4E4 people who contributed and/or came to celebrate my 17th birthday last year. They are: Sara, Chean Fei, Kar Yan, Melissa, Ying Ying, Kevin, Han Feng, Wen Jie(HYSS), Ma Lian, Andy, Debra, Abigail, Shi Qi, Zhi Xian and Anson. (Let me know if I missed anyone out.) Thanks(x100) to nice nice Sara for planning it. By the way, Yeo Zhi Xian and Anson Koh pangseh(didn't come) at the last minute coz the former had to help out at some NP school event and the latter got work to do. But Anson Koh sent a really nice birthday greeting so he was kinda let off. LOL.

Oh yeas. The 2E3 people(Debra, Ma Lian, Andy, Chean Fei, Abigail and Shi Qi) surprised me with a full Apple Strudel from Renaldo's on that day too. Thanks people. =D Actually, I was kinda suspicious coz when we were eating, the 2E3 girls and guys were like whispering to themselves at the other end of the table for some time and then they decided to go to the toilet together all of a sudden. PLUS, when they asked me if I wanted to go too, they didn't really MEAN it. It was super random...... Turns out that they went to buy the apple strudel.

After eating, everyone sang the Happy Birthday song near the entrance of the Raffles Place MRT station with the apple strudel substituting the role of a cake. Luckily, Abigail asked the people to cut the strudel at the shop beforehand but it wasn't cut into enough pieces for everyone so two people had to share one portion of apple strudel.

Since it was a share thing, I guess some of the guys - especially Kevin and Han Feng - were put off by the idea of sharing (saliva) with each other so they didn't want the strudel at first. However, after some psycho-ing by me, Chean Fei, Sara, Kar Yan and Ying Ying, they finally shared one portion together. XD LOL.

After that, Kar Yan and Ying Ying(if I didn't remember wrongly) had to go home and the remaining people went to the arcade at Plaza Singapura. Somehow, I guess 4E4 people really love to go to the arcade coz I find myself going there when I'm with them.

We were SUPER noisy at the arcade when we played this really lame game where you must throw plastic balls - those that you can find at the children's playground in IKEA - at the targets on the screen. There are different settings with different targets where you can choose from and I think we played the one where the target was this flasher the most. (-_-)"""

Felt really bad coz the people who contributed to my birthday really paid a lot especially Sara and Chean Fei. I'm not sure about the amount the others paid but if I'm not wrong, Sara forked out $50 and Chean Fei paid $20 for my main birthday present which was the tickets to FLH's concert and that does not include the money for the apple strudel, my $20+ dinner that day - which everyone die-die also refuse to let me pay for myself =( - and the money for the arcade games.

Really love my secondary school days...... or rather the friends and teachers there.

Remembered about this stupid joke that Zheng Hang told me, at the 4E4 Mid-Year class chalet in 2007, when I went to visit Mr Seow for Chinese New Year with the 4E4 peeps this year:
Me: Hey Zheng Hang! Ni you lai ah? (You came too?)
Zheng Hang: Yes? HENG Min Wei!
Me: WAH! Ni hao... Lian ming dai xing jiao ren... (You good... You're calling me by my full name...)

To those who do not understand, Zheng Hang's surname is "Zheng" but since Chinese names normally have two syllabus in it, people would find it weird to call Zheng Hang "Hang"(his name) so people call Zheng Hang by his full name. Anyway, Zheng Hang kept on calling me by my full name throughout the whole chalet after that. =( LOL.

p/s: Sara and I saw Zheng Hang and his girlfriend at Jurong Point when we went to watch Bride Wars 6th February. It turned out that he was also in the same theatre but we didn't realise it until we came out of the theatre. To tell the truth, I didn't really recognize him at first coz his hairstyle changed quite a bit. =P
